Side Effects [IDCEC CEU #105798 | HSW | Basic]
This course provides a macro view of the healthcare industry. It shows the interconnectedness between the healthcare systems, legislative policy, the built environment and clients we serve. Side Effects will broaden attendees’ knowledge of current U.S. initiatives and show (through project examples) how these policies have influenced planning & design decisions. The course connects holistic care approaches and facility features to Behavioral Health. In addition, attendees will see how all these components are moving population health in new and exciting directions to improve outcomes and how these ideas can create leverage points in their communities.
