Candidate Statement
I would focus on Education and Knowledge Sharing so clients could experience the “Value Added” by engaging ASID members. At the beginning of every Design Community meeting, five to ten minutes would be devoted to sharing knowledge bases found in the ever changing residential and commercial Energy, Plumbing, Electrical and other regulations that affect the business of interior design in every one of our projects. A “TEXT Buddy” system would match a member to a small group of other members to get immediate answers when they enter a job site that has some elements that they do not recognize. The TEXT Buddies could respond immediately and even view a picture of the issue.
