The ASID Texas Austin Design Community invites you to Design a Better Business with Terri Taylor, ASID, NKBA, IIDA, IDS, NCIDQ of the Interior Design Business Academy. During this 1-hour IDCEC-approved CEU hosted by Lighting Connection, Terri will teach you how to:
- Set clear project boundaries from the start using a Letter of Agreement that defines scope, timelines, and expectations—so everyone stays aligned
- Eliminate scope creep and unpaid extras by clearly outlining deliverables, meeting limits, and what is (and isn’t) included
- Take control of your time and decisions with contract end dates, decision deadlines, and structured client meetings Because when your boundaries are clear, everything flows—your projects, your clients, and your profit.
This training shows you how to lead your projects with clarity and confidence - so that you can do your best creative work without being drained, overextended, or underpaid. Through a powerful, real-world approach to Letters of Agreement, you’ll learn how to create structure that protects your time, elevates your client experience, and increases your profitability.

- ASID Interior Designers/Students: $25
- Non-ASID Member Interior Designers/Students: $50
- ASID Industry Members (Partner Reps/Affiliates): $40
- This event is limited to 30 Interior Designers/Students and 10 Industry Members.
- You must register on Zeffy to attend. Registration will close Sunday, May 17th @ 10:00 PM or when tickets sell out, whichever comes first.
- There are no refunds for paid tickets, but a different person may attend in your place should you not be able to attend. You must let the volunteer organizers know.
