The 2024 Event

We hope you didn’t miss the 2024 edition of our annual chapter conference, Celebrating Design Texas: Education, Expo & Awards, which took place July 17-19, 2024! We were back on the campus of Chapter Diamond Sponsor Dallas Market Center, with our Education & Expo in the World Trade Center and our Awards and social events in the Interior Home + Design Center, the home of the ASID Texas Chapter office.

We were thrilled to feature a 37-vendor Expo, 14 hours of IDCEC-approved HSW CEUs, a Keynote moderated by ASID National Chair John Cialone, FASID, four 30-minute Pop-Up Talks, Student Programming, Design Insiders Tours, Showroom Lunches, and evening networking parties.

Student Symposium

Student Symposium is an annual event for Interior Design Students within the Texas Chapter and beyond. It exposes budding designers to the real world of interior design and brings Students together to interact and learn from established Professionals and Industry members.

This phenomenal series of events is exclusively for ASID Student Members and is filled with rich opportunities that expose students to the reality of this amazingly diverse profession. Students are able to interact one-on-one with professionals from all facets of design: education, healthcare, hospitality, institutional, multifamily, residential, retail and workplace.

Student Symposium 2024 took place June 3-7 and featured Real World Design Week, four days (Monday, June 3 - Thursday, June 6) of personalized mentoring through shadow experiences. Due to scheduling issues, the in-person event on the fifth day that was originally schedule on Friday, June 7 was rescheduled for Thursday, September 5 & Friday, September 6 in Dallas.
