Every year before he or she leaves office, the current ASID Texas Chapter President singles out members who have provided extra support and have gone above and beyond for the chapter. Nichelle Hosley, ASID Allied, the 2025-2026 ASID Texas Chapter President, has chosen to bestow each of the following members with a President’s Award for the 2025-2026 leadership year:

The Social Catalyst Award

Amaris is a person who accepted the challenge of enhancing our social media presence and visibility and is being recognized for her outstanding creativity and dedication to elevating the San Antonio Design Community specifically and, consequently, the ASID Texas Chapter overall through social media. She exceeded expectations in growing our digital presence, increasing visibility, and creating greater engagement with our members and design community.

JOSEPH JENNINGS, ASID Affiliate

The Chapter Ally Award

Joseph is a person being recognized for his extraordinary support, unwavering commitment, and continued dedication to ASID Texas. His generosity, partnership, and belief in the chapter have made a lasting impact on our members and the design community. Joseph will serve as the Financial Chair for the Fort Worth Design Community during the 2026-2027 Leadership Year.

ZARIAH ID-DEEN, ASID Student

The NextGen Impact Award

Zariah is a person who is an exceptional student whose service, enthusiasm, and commitment to ASID demonstrate leadership and a passion for shaping the future of the interior design profession. Zariah attends Dallas College and has served on the Dallas Design Community Committee in the role of Student Liaison Co-Chair. We look forward to seeing her continue her leadership journey within ASID.

FAYE NIELSEN, ASID Allied

The Rise to the Occasion Award

Faye deserves to be recognized for her unwavering willingness to step forward when needed and lead wherever she could make the greatest impact. When the chapter needed a President-Elect, she answered the call, stepping from Membership Director into leadership with grace, commitment, and confidence. Her willingness to step up when others needed to step away truly embodies the spirit of service and leadership.
