Let’s make 2022 a great year! As we begin the new year, it’s natural to review the past and plan for the future. We make resolutions and set goals. Since most of us in ASID are visual people, wouldn’t it be helpful to have a visual representation of all of our goals and dreams?

Please join the ASID Texas Dallas Design Community for our January event at the showroom of ASID Industry Partner Daltile at their Design Studio to kick off the new year right by making a vision board!

If you are not familiar with the concept, a vision board is basically a collage of images and text that represent what you are trying to accomplish. Making one is a great way to reflect on your dreams and set your intentions. Displaying it where you see it frequently helps you visualize and manifest your goals. Thought leaders and psychologists around the world agree that visualization works to increase motivation and confidence.

Our gracious hosts will provide all the supplies needed (boards, glue, scissors, stickers, magazines) as well as refreshments. If there are specific visuals you know you want to use, print and bring them with you. If you have extra magazines laying around, those would be welcome additions as well.

Because of everything they are supplying and space limits, our hosts really need an accurate headcount in a timely manner. Please be sure to register early and let us know in advance if your plans change.

• You MUST register on Eventbrite to attend. Registration will close Friday, January 7 @ 7:00 PM, so be sure to register by then.
• Each attendee is required to complete THIS COVID-19 WAIVER & RELEASE FORM [PDF]. Please download, sign, and bring with you. (Do NOT email.) Those who do not submit completed forms will not be allowed to enter.
• If you RSVP via Eventbrite and then discover you cannot attend, please be courteous by following these instructions to cancel your registration so that both the host and the Dallas Design Community volunteer organizers know.
