From the initial concept to the final stitch, custom upholstery tells a story of craftsmanship and creativity. This course explores how fabric selection, frame construction, and tailoring techniques come together to bring upholstered pieces to life. Through behind-the-scenes insights and practical examples, this course offers valuable knowledge for specifying and designing custom upholstery that reflects both beauty and function.

Registration Notes

• You must register on Eventbrite to attend. Registrations will close Monday, August 25th @ 5:00 PM when the 40 seats are filled, whichever comes first.
• Please be prepared to type in your IDCEC # if you would like for the speaker to report your attendance to IDCEC for credit.
• If you RSVP via Eventbrite and then discover you cannot attend, please be courteous by following these instructions to cancel your registration so that both the host and the Design Community volunteer organizers know and so someone can claim your spot.
• There are no refunds for paid tickets, but a different person may attend in your place should you not be able to attend. You must let the volunteer organizers know.
