Dear ASID Texas Chapter Members,
I can’t begin to express how grateful and excited I am to step into the role of President of our ASID Texas Chapter. To serve in this way, alongside such an incredible group of designers, industry partners, and leaders, is truly an honor. You are the heartbeat of this chapter, and it’s your creativity, generosity, and passion that inspire me every single day.
As I begin this new chapter of leadership, I carry with me a deep respect for those who have come before me. Our past presidents have set a strong foundation of excellence, collaboration, and vision. I am committed to honoring that legacy by continuing to build on it and by leaning into the spirit of working together. Collaboration has always been at the center of my core values, and I believe it will be the key to everything we as a chapter achieve moving forward.
This year, my goals are rooted in that same collaborative spirit: to strengthen connections across our chapter and other chapters, to amplify the power of interior design in our communities through advocacy and outreach, and to create opportunities for mentorship and shared learning. My hope is that every member, whether you’re just starting out or a seasoned professional feel seen, supported, and part of something bigger than themselves.
I truly believe this will be a year of growth, celebration, and impact because of the work we do together. Thank you for trusting me with this role. I’m looking forward to collaborating with each of you, building on what’s been established, and celebrating everything we accomplish side by side.
My charge to you is this: LEAN IN. Bring your ideas, your voice, and your passion to the table. Say yes to opportunities to connect, to mentor, to learn, and to lead. When we each contribute our part, we create something greater than any one of us could achieve alone. Together, we will shape the future of design in Texas and beyond.
With much gratitude and excitement,
Nichelle Nichole Hosley, ASID Allied
