ASID Texas Chapter Announces Recipient of 3rd Annual Diversity in Design Small Business Grant

The ASID Texas Chapter is proud to announce this year’s ASID Texas Chapter Diversity in Design Small Business Grant has been awarded to Adrian Galvan, ASID Allied of Designology, The Lifestyle Design Company.

This grant was established to provide financial assistance to ASID Texas Chapter members who own for-profit businesses and are experiencing financial need or seeking to grow their business, while also supporting ASID National’s commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion within the interior design profession.

Adrian, who is part of the ASID Texas Chapter's San Antonio Design Community, was selected from a competitive pool of applicants for his inspiring vision to grow his business while creating greater opportunity and representation within the design community. His proposed initiatives include enhancing business operations, redeveloping his website, launching strategic partnerships, and establishing an internship program to mentor aspiring designers from underrepresented backgrounds.

As a proud Gay Latino designer, Adrian’s leadership, authenticity, and commitment to inclusivity embody the spirit and purpose of this grant. We congratulate Adrian on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to seeing the continued impact of his work on the industry and our community.

We are proud to recognize Adrian for his vision, leadership, and commitment to advancing inclusion within the design profession.
