Every year before he or she leaves office, the current ASID Texas Chapter President singles out members who have provided extra support and have gone above and beyond for the chapter. Kathryn Nelson, ASID, RID, the 2022-2023 ASID Texas Chapter President, has chosen to bestow each of the following members with a President’s Award for the 2022-2023 leadership year:

2022-2023 ASID Texas Chapter Sponsorship Chair | For her dedication and support of our newly rewritten Texas Chapter Sponsorship package to be the "One Ask, Once Check" concept, Dana succeeded in matching our previous year's fundraising to almost $70,000. We couldn't have made it through these uncertain financial times without her leadership and gusto. We look forward to her continued support next year as well.

KATHY TOMKINS, ASID IP Representative

2022-2023 ASID Texas Chapter Financial Director | Kathy took on two full time jobs this year in her leadership year along with her successful role with her employer, The Stone Collection in Dallas. By hosting multiple virtual and in-person training sessions for the Financial Chairs of all of the Design Communities, she has made sure we follow fiscally-responsible spending, utilize event budgets while creating a good cushion for the future DC Chairs and Committees to continue on into the next leadership year.
