The ASID Texas Chapter Dallas Design Community invites you to our April event at the beautiful Design District showroom of ASID Industry Partner Arteriors. Amongst their eclectic collection of luxury lighting, furniture and accessories we'll enjoy lunch and the following CEU:

Building a Sustainable Footprint in the Home furnishings Industry

In this course, we will analyze the various ways that Sustainability can be defined in product design, production, and manufacturing within the Home Furnishings industry and discuss how sustainable ways of working across a wide variety of business practices in the areas of design, production, and logistics are imperative to supporting and fostering the earth’s fragile ecosystem. Participants will learn about sustainable practices in business and why they must be considered when specifying products for interior design projects, including: Product Design and Production; Material Composition and Material Harvesting; Preservation of Artisan Craftsman and Production; Product Lifecycle; Packaging; and Transit.

Please bring your business card to enter drawings. Industry Partners, we holding our "IP Spotlight," which means that at every meeting one IP business card will be drawn, and the lucky winner will get to give a 2 minute presentation about their company and services to everyone in attendance.

Parking: There are parking spaces on the side street within walking distance of the showroom.
