The Emerging Professionals Committee of the ASID Texas Chapter Dallas Design Community invites Emerging Professionals for a guided, detailed tour of the newly renovated DoubleTree Love Field hotel [3300 West Mockingbird Lane, Dallas, TX 75235] by team members from interior design firm Michelle Meredith & Associates.

Undergoing a two-year renovation, the hotel was completed January 20, 2017. The lobby was altered to reflect a contemporary, modern space to evoke a sense of serenity, comfort, and community. The primary design goals included:

• working within the client’s designated budget,
• designing an environment to meet the client’s goals and incorporating brand standards,
• giving priority to the client’s designated program and operational work spaces within the framework of the new design,
• and leveraging flexibility between current and upcoming technology to ensure future adaptability for the environment.
